Letter: Location, location, location was carousel's demise

To the editor:

We watched for many months the work being done to create the Berkshire Carousel. When it opened, we took our grandchildren and it was beautiful. The location was horrible. Tourists to our area would find it way off the beaten path.

I fear the demise of the carousel was the poor location. The Common would have been a much better choice.
