Letter: Onus falls on board of Berkshire Museum

To the editor:

I would like to commend The Eagle for its thorough reporting about the Berkshire Museum and its planned sale of donated art.

I believe the museum's board of directors has been duped into making a poor decision by its director. Based on previous actions, it appears that the money raised by the sale of the artwork will not be used in the museum's best interests by the director.

If the board doesn't see this, its members should all step down. They obviously didn't do their homework when they hired this person to run the museum. The board of directors must be held accountable for making such a poor decision.

John DiTomasso,
