Letter: Rockwell would have satirized museum

To the editor:

Had Norman Rockwell lived to see this day, surely it would have been a great opportunity to take a jab at the farce taking place at the Berkshire Museum. A painting titled "Penny Wise and Pound Foolish" might likely have emerged based on that old Yankee axiom.

An array of art bureaucrats sits around a table making a decision as to what is best for the community. We're all wondering which community they're referring to.

Richard Harrington,

North Adams
