Letter: Shameful opposition to mail-in voting
To the editor:
I am 86-years-old and I never thought I would see the day when a major political party would try to suppress the people's right to vote in this country. The validity of mail-in ballots has never been questioned until now. Voter fraud has been found to be a trumped up myth.
I urge every citizen to push back against this threat to our democracy. An unbalanced president and his inept administration have done terrible damage to our most sacred institutions in just four short years. That includes the State Department, the intelligence community, the judiciary and the military.
For those of you who would like to know what kind of leader Joe Biden would make , I urge you to read Jill Biden's recent memoir. It portrays a man with the qualities we urgently need now to return the country to the one we know and love, and for which so many have laid down their lives.
