Letter: Spectrum's greed is to be expected
To the editor:
Spectrum, formerly known as Time Warner Cable, charged us $39 for internet, television and telephone a number of years ago. Our latest bill from them was $216 for the same services. We might as well be living in Venezuela or Zimbabwe.
That kind of greedy inflation, made possible by these cable companies staking out monopolies in states and communities throughout the country, is outrageous. But what do you expect? We live in the United Corporations of America.
