Letter: Trump's remarks anger melting-pot American

To the editor:

My paternal family arrived on the Mayflower, seeking freedom. My maternal family emigrated from Latvia and Lithuania, where they were rabbis and traveling salesmen in Prussia. My siblings are married to women from Belize, who are African, Mayan, and East Indian. My sister is married to a man from Mexico. I have French, English, Askenazi Jew and Native American blood. You could say most of my people came from s---hole countries.

My family includes award-winning famous authors, global activists, hard-working master carpenters, nurses. When will this Congress stand up to our president, who insults all Americans with this latest disgusting comment that caps a year of disgusting actions?
