Letter: Wear helmets at city skate park
To the editor:
As an add-on to letter-writer Richard Lipton's remarks about wearing helmets in Saturday's Eagle, I drive by the East Street skate park many times a day and I would bet there are only about three youngsters with helmets while the others are doing flips and spins on their bikes and skateboards. I am stunned that parents would allow their children to risk being injured on a daily basis.
I would like to hear from an emergency room doctor just how many accidents occur and the damage that it can cause
