Lever seeking applicants for new business challenge


NORTH ADAMS — Lever, a North Adams-based business incubator, is accepting applications for its upcoming Intrapreneur Challenge through June 14. On Oct. 3, Lever will award $25,000 to the Berkshire County company whose intrapreneur presents the new product or service with the most potential to generate new revenue for their company. Up to 10 qualifying companies will be invited to compete on a first-come first-serve basis.Requirements: Applicants must be Berkshire County businesses with annual revenues greater than $500,000; a team of two or more intrapreneurs should be assigned to lead the project; the proposed innovation must be aimed at growing revenues, not reducing costs; and companies can only submit one application per challenge.Intrapreneurs must also attend the three scheduled workshops and pitch rehearsal session; have a level of support from the CEO/President of their company; and must be assigned a senior leader champion for the duration of the challenge.
