Mass. DPH virus update: Another death, 14 new cases of COVID-19 in Berkshires

One death and 14 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday for the Berkshires.

The number of county people killed by the disease is now 39; the county cases of the coronavirus are at 537.

The state Department of Public Health reported 57 new deaths across Massachusetts, for a total of 6,473. There were 422 new confirmed cases, for a statewide total of 93,693.

Across the U.S., 98,261 Americans have lost their lives to COVID-19, and there's been 1,662,414 people sickened, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
