Mass. DPH virus update: Berkshire coronavirus deaths, cases hold steady

The Berkshire County coronavirus count stands at 594 on Monday, with the death toll at 44, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced

There were an additional 35 deaths announced statewide, and another 101 new cases, for new state totals of 8,095 deaths and 108,768 cases, the DPH reported.

The Berkshire deaths have been unchanged since June 19; the Berkshire COVID-19 cases were level since Saturday. 

Across the U.S., there have been 126,369 deaths and  2,545,250 confirmed cases of the illness, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
