Mass. DPH virus update: No new deaths in Berkshire County, three new COVID-19 cases; 110 dead in state

There were no new Berkshire deaths from the coronavirus, and three new COVID-19 cases in the county, according to data released by the state Friday.

Statewide, 110 new deaths were reported by the state Department of Public Health, for a total of 5,592 since the pandemic began. The county death toll remains at 37.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the Berkshires is now at 491, up three from Thursday.

In all, 1,239 new cases were reported in Massachusetts, bringing the statewide total to 83,421.
