Mass. DPH virus update: Two new cases reported in Berkshire County

The death toll for Berkshire County held at 37 for the 12th day as of Sunday. The county added two cases of COVID-19, bringing a new total of 497.

Across the state, 92 new deaths were reported by the Department of Public Health, for a total now of 5,797. The case count rose by 1,077 to 86,010.

As of Sunday, 2,597 people with the disease in Massachusetts were being cared for in a hospital, 702 of them in an intensive care unit.
