PITTSFIELD — Jam band Max Creek is bringing its 48th anniversary "45 and Live" tour to The Colonial Theatre, 8 p.m., April 5.

The band is on its Creekiversary 48th anniversary tour in support of its hew album, "45 and Live," its first album in 19 years.

Max Creek's style mixes rock, country, reggae, soul, jazz and calypso.

The multigenerational band includes guitarist Scott Murawski, keyboardist Mark Mercier and bassist John Rider, who have been with Max Creek since the mid-'70s. The current drums and percussion team of Bill Carbone and Jamemurrell Stanley, weren't born when Rider formed Max Creek in 1971.

The Misty Blues Duo will perform at 6:30 in The Garage, located in the Colonial Theatre lobby. There will be no cover charge. Refreshments and snacks will be available at The Garage bar.

Box office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday; and 10 a.m. until curtain on any performance day.
