Missing Clarksburg woman's vehicle found in Easthampton


The vehicle belonging to a missing Clarksburg woman was found in Easthampton on March 6, but the woman's whereabouts are still unknown.

According to a statement released Wednesday by the Berkshire District Attorney's officer, 39-year-old Joanne M. Ringer was last seen March 2 in Clarksburg.

Ringer is described as a white female, about five feet, seven inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, though she may be wearing colored contact lenses. She has brown hair with blond or purple highlights.

Ringer's right arm is tattooed with the image of a female spanning the distance from her elbow to wrist. Ringer also has face and torso piercings, according to the DA's office.

The DA's office asks anyone who has seen or spoken to Ringer or knows of her whereabouts to call the Massachusetts State Police, Cheshire barracks at 413-743-4700 or the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Berkshire District Attorney's Office at 413-499-1112.
