Monterey: Bidwell House plans virtual summer party

The Bidwell House Museum will host the YouTube premier of the Museum's annual summer fundraising party at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.

The event will begin with a bird's eye view of the Museum along with an introduction and welcome from Museum Director Heather Kowalski followed by local musicians playing in favorite spots in and around the museum. Musicians include Mountain Laurel, Paula Bradley, violinist Eric Martin, and Oakes & Smith.

Board of trustees President Rob Hoogs will also show the recently completed accessibility and preservation work at the Museum.

Registration is free. All attendees must preregister and will receive the link to attend the virtual party a few days before the event. Donations are welcome.
