Monument Mountain Regional High School plans virtual graduation Sunday
GREAT BARRINGTON — Berkshire Hills Regional School District Superintendent Peter Dillon has announced that Monument Mountain Regional High School will be graduating its Class of 2020 in a virtual ceremony at 10 a.m. Sunday.
The program will air on CTSB-TV Channel 1302 and will stream at 10 a.m. at mmtv.us and at ctsbtv.org/education-ch-1302.html; click the "watch" button.
The program will be available for later viewing at mmtv.us, via mmrhs.bhrsd.org and on Pittsfield Community Television.
The virtual ceremony will incorporate filmed footage of students walking across the stage to receive their diplomas. It will be followed by a drive-thru diploma distribution beginning about noon at the school.
A car parade is anticipated to begin at 1:30 p.m. traveling from the school north to Stockbridge, West Stockbridge and Housatonic, and ending on Main Street in Great Barrington.
The community is invited to celebrate the graduates by lining the route. Signs, pompoms, noisemakers, and Spartan gear and colors are encouraged. COVID-19 safety protocols should be observed.
