Mount Greylock State Reservation


Fun guided hikes with Park Interpreter Mike that explore the human side of Mount Greylock. Various hikes feature local history, literary inspirations, poetry readings, and maybe even a ghost story! These short hikes will meander through a diversity of historic landscapes, from field to forest, expressing a wide range of evocative cultural narratives that speak to us on a very personal level. Participants are encouraged to share their own poems or stories of the land for this relaxed interactive program. All ages are welcome. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring water, insect repellent, snack or lunch, trekking poles and binoculars.
