"The Magician of Auschwitz," a Holocaust lesson suitable for elementary school children, will be presented from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the North Adams Museum of History and Science located at the Holiday Inn, 40 Main St.

Jane Shiyah, licensed social worker, will tell the story of Nivelli, a renowned magician whose magic saved his life after he had been sent to Auschwitz. Shiyah will also introduce the children to magic tricks.
