PEOPLE: Just about anything goes on Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk"; soccer star Alex Morgan adds "actor' to her resume; actor John Schneider released from jail

Little is off limits on Smith's 'Red Table Talk'

There isn't much Jada Pinkett Smith, her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and her 17-year-old daughter, Willow, aren't willing to talk about around a shiny round red table in a unique Facebook show that has a growing, grateful audience of women.

Pinkett Smith, who has been both TV talk show guest and TV talk show producer, considers "Red Table Talk" intimate, authentic and fluid. The weekly show includes live extras like viewer questions and guest appearances by friends and family.

The idea, Pinkett Smith said, is to testify rather than preach. The former takes courage and is much more helpful, she said.

"We talk so much about what's happening outside of us and we're not talking enough about what's going on within," said Pinkett Smith.

Alex Morgan gives acting a go

She's already an internationally recognized soccer player with a World Cup title and an Olympic gold medal. She's also the author of a series of kids' books.

Now you can add actor to Alex Morgan's resume.

The U.S. national team forward makes her movie debut in a new feature "Alex & Me" about a young player who is inspired by Morgan, who plays herself.

The film was released on iTunes earlier this week and it's set to come out on DVD Tuesday.

Actor John Schneider released from jail

"Dukes of Hazard" star John Schneider is free hours after he was jailed for an alimony dispute.

The 58-year-old Schneider was released from the Los Angeles County Jail on Tuesday when his three-day sentence was cut short because of overcrowding.

The "Smallville" star told Fox News he cannot afford the payments to his estranged wife Elvira "Elly" Schneider. She filed for divorce in 2014 after 21 years of marriage; they have three adult children.

Schneider still faces the payments and community service.
