Pittsfield: Amateur radio 'ham cram' slated

The Albany Area Amateur Association will hold its next amateur radio license class at Pittsfield Community Television's Studio K facility, 4 Federico Drive.

The two day intensive, known as a "Ham Cram," will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 22. Testing for FCC amateur radio licenses will immediately follow the Sunday class at noon.

The $30 fee includes the cost of the FCC technician license test, reference materials and lunch for both days.
