Pittsfield: Early childhood educator to speak at museum

Berkshire Museum will continue its new Voices and Visionaries dinner and discussion series at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, with "What Everyone Should Know About the New Brain Science and Our Youngest Citizens," featuring early childhood educator Beth Fredericks and Berkshire Museum's Chief Experience Officer Craig Langlois.

Fredericks and Langlois will discuss current topics in early childhood education and their application in school, home and community settings.

Each session begins with the talk at 5:30 p.m., a wine and beer reception at 7 p.m. followed by a seated, locally-inspired dinner.

Talk only tickets cost $18, talk and reception tickets cost $30, and premier talk and dinner tickets cost $100 each, or $170 for a pair.

Scholarship tickets are available for active educators. All scholarship tickets must be purchased over the phone by Sept. 13.
