Pittsfield: Genealogy seminar registration open

The Berkshire Family History Association is sponsoring a genealogical program featuring Julie Roberts Szczepankiewicz from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Country Club of Pittsfield.

Two lectures, "The ABCs of DNA: First Steps in Understanding and Using Your DNA Test Results" and "Finding Uncle Frank: Confirming the Identity of a Soldier Buried Under the Wrong Name," will be presented.

A free raffle is included. Preregistration and payment is required. A fee of $10 will cover the cost of the program and refreshments.

Free admission is available by joining the BFHA or extending an existing membership for $12 per year.
