Pittsfield: Home Instead offers dementia support


Home Instead Senior Care of Berkshire County provides a support group specifically for people living with Alzheimer's Disease or other dementia, and a separate group for caregivers, at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at Home Instead, 66 Wendell Ave.

Those living with dementia can learn more about memory loss, share thoughts, ideas, and feelings with one another, and also participate in some engaging activities.

The caregiver group, facilitated by Bobbie Orsi and Dr. Jay Ellis, is open to family caregivers including spouses/partners, adult children and other family members.

Registration is required by calling Orsi at 413-442-0907.
