Pittsfield man charged with beating, raping woman
Pittsfield — A city man was arrested Saturday night after police say he beat and sexually assaulted a woman.
Anthony D. Miller, 50, is facing charges of aggravated rape, kidnapping, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault and battery of a family household member and witness intimidation.
He was arrested Saturday night at a Pittsfield residence where the victim lives, according to a release from the Pittsfield Police Department. He is currently being held at the police department on $100,000 bail.
Miller will be arraigned Monday morning in Central Berkshire District Court.
