Pittsfield: OLLI at BCC winter open house

OLLI, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Berkshire Community College, is offering over a dozen classes from philosophy to film noir in Pittsfield, Great Barrington and Williamstown beginning Jan. 15.

Community members are invited to attend a free OLLI open house from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at BCC's Connector Lounge, 1350 West St.

OLLI is designed especially by and for people ages 50 and older but open to people of all ages. Membership is a prerequisite to taking classes, and partial scholarships are available for those in need.

Those who join at the open house will receive 50 percent off their first year's membership.
