Pittsfield: Physicians to discuss healthcare reform

The Berkshire Citizens for Peace and Justice will present "Healthcare Reform: Where Do We Go From Here?" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 175 Wendell Ave.

The presenters include Dr. Michael Kaplan, a family practitioner at CHP/Lee Family Practice, and Dr. Charles Wohl, a recently retired primary care internist at CHP/Neighborhood Health Center.

Both physicians have been advocates of a single-payer — an improved Medicare-for-all — healthcare system for the United States and are members of Physicians for a National Health Program, the leading national organization of healthcare professionals in the single-payer movement.

The program is free and open to the public.
