Pittsfield Police seek help finding missing boy

PITTSFIELD — City police are asking for help finding a 15-year-old boy who has been reported missing.

Jakob Beth may be in the Adams County area of Pennsylvania with his mother, Rebecca Yaklin, according to a post on the Pittsfield Police Department's Facebook page.

Yaklin does not have legal custody of Jakob, police said.

Jakob is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches and 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Jakob or his mother is asked to please contact the department's Detective Bureau at 413-448-9705, or send a private message to the PPD Facebook. Tips can also be left anonymously on the department's Tip411 app.
