Pittsfield: Program explores 'world's worst weather' location

Mount Washington's Will Broussard will present "Tales from the Home of the World's Worst Weather" at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Berkshire Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave.

Mount Washington, N.H., is known worldwide for its unpredictable and dangerous weather. The presentation will investigate the unique life and work of weather observers stationed at the observatory year-round, how the mountain's weather works, and what it can tell us about New England's own weather.

Attending Berkshire Community College students will receive forum credit.
