1Berkshire, the region’s leading economic development agency, has issued a report with proposals for attracting and retaining Millennials. The Berkshire Initiative for Growth looks at ways to address the county’s declining population of young people. Proposals range from boosting ride sharing through Uber to changing the region’s image as lacking opportunities for people ages 20 to 40.

In this edition of the Berkshire Eagle podcast, host Mark Mills speaks with 1Berkshire president and CEO Jonathan Butler and Julia Dixon, a North Adams-based creative economy consultant and lead author of the study.
