Roundup: Drury hockey scores 3 unanswered to top Mount Everett

Posted
NORTH ADAMS — Drury sent Berkshire County rival Mount Everett on a long drive south with a 3-1 win late Saturday night at Vietnam Veterans Skating Rink. The Eagles drew first blood on a Jake Corcoran goal in the opening period, but Drury got the equalizer in a hurry. Just 10 seconds after Corcoran lit the lamp, Corbin Rumbolt connected on the first of his two goals. Hoby MacWhinnie and Mitch Andrews combined on the helper to make it a 1-1 game. Rumbolt broke that deadlock a full period later with just 23 seconds left on an assist from Kelsey Haley. Omar Uqdah scored on an empty net to seal the Blue Devils home win. Nate Haley turned away 27 Mount Everett tries for the victory.
