Mount Greylock 5, Lenox 0

LENOX — The Foehl brothers sent Mount Greylock (10-4-2, 7-0-1 Berkshire North) into the Western Mass Division III tournament on a high note Tuesday night, as Brady and Toby Foehl scored two goals each in a blowout win over Lenox (10-5-3, 2-5-1). The Millionaires, who also await their tournament seeding in the Division IV field on Wednesday, were blitzed out of the gate by Brady Foehl and Sam Dils, who connected twice in the first 14 minutes of play. The Mounties led 3-0 at halftime and finished things off with David Falk making four saves to secure the shutout.

"We were hoping to roll into the tournament with a positive result against Greylock, a clear D3 contender for a Western Mass. championship this year," said Lenox coach Matt Cote in an email. "It gives us something to chew on during this long week of practice, and it reminds us that nothing comes easy. If we are to achieve our goal of a Western Mass. championship ourselves, we need to find a way to beat tough teams like Greylock, by staying positive, sticking to our game plan and trusting each other."
