LENOX — The Lenox golf team recorded a 154-175 win over Wahconah on Tuesday at Cranwell Resort, riding a 4-over par 38 by Max Shepardson to take medalist honors.

Devan Patel shot a 41 for Lenox (5-1) while Brendan Hayden shot a 40.

For Wahconah (4-2), Dan Wilson shot a 41 and Kristina Cusson 44.

McCann Tech 23, Sabis 1

ADAMS — The Hornets kept their perfect start to the year going by picking up a commanding win over Sabis.

McCann (4-0) won all six individual matches, with only Sabis' Michael Scoville able to record a point, as he lost to Ryan Baran 3-1.

Nash Morin was the medalist with a red-hot 34 on the day.

PITTSFIELD — Playing at the Country Club of Pittsfield, visiting Taconic had three golfers shoot in the 40s to defeat the Generals (0-4, 0-2 Berkshire North).

Seamus Hayes shot a 41 to lead Taconic (2-3, 1-2), and shared medalist honors with PHS' Liam Fitzgibbons.

Nate Murphy and Camdyn McKillop each shot a 48 for Taconic.

Pittsfield 3, Hampden Charter 0

PITTSFIELD — The Generals made quick work of Hampden Charter, winning 25-10, 25-10 and 25-11 to improve to 3-2 on the year.

Jasmyn Roarck-Somersall had four kills and three aces in the win. Leichana Williamson added two kills and two aces, Sydney Herland had four kills and four aces, and Brianna Palmieri had seven kills.

Mount Greylock 3, Monument Mountain 0

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Mounties (4-1) won by set scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-17 to defeat the Spartans (1-4).

Lucy Shepard had nine kills and three aces in the win. Lainey Gill had two aces and two kills, Takeira Darrow had seven aces and six kills, and Emma Hayward had 21 digs and two aces.

For Monument, Elena Angerman was 12 of 13 serving with three aces, four digs and five kills. Brianna Ayala went 13 for 14 serving with two aces, five digs, 13 assists and one kill. Marley Zorn finished with four digs, three kills and a block.

College Volleyball

Westfield State 3, MCLA 1

WESTFIELD — The Owls won by set scores of 26-28, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-23.

Kelly Moczulski had 15 kills in the loss, while Ahna Schlaefer had nine kills and 15 digs. Houa Xiong had 41 digs in the loss.
