SPRINGFIELD — That's two wins in two days, three straight and five of the last six for Mount Greylock boys basketball after a road victory at Sabis on Sunday.

The Mounties took down the defending Western Massachusetts Division III champions 51-48 in a rare Sunday matinee.

Derek Paris erupted for 27 points on five made 3-pointers, while Toby Foehl added 16. The Mounties held Sabis to just 18 first-half points and held on through a fourth-quarter rally to put the Bulldogs away. Greylock (12-6) shot 8 of 13 from the foul line in the fourth quarter. Paris was 8 of 10 in the game.

Foehl's run of late has pushed him to No. 37 on the county's all-time boys scoring list with 1,135 points.

The Mounties wrap up their regular season this week with a pair of home games against McCann Tech on Wednesday and a Berkshire South clash against Lenox on Friday night. Greylock is 5-2 in the South, while Lenox is 4-2 and Monument Mountain 5-1.
