ELDER SERVICES OF BERKSHIRE COUNTY

Elder Services offers resources and services for Berkshire seniors, including Meals on Wheels and senior group lunches, information and referral, case management, homemaker, personal care, caregiver services and more. ADAMS

The Council on Aging office, at 3 Hoosac St., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and van service is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; call 413-743-8333 at least two days in advance for medical appointments, in-town shopping, banking and rides to the Visitor's Center for lunch and/or programs. A blood pressure clinic is offered on the third Tuesday of each month, and a potluck is offered on the third Thursday of each month.

Lebanon Valley Senior Citizens club meets the first and third Fridays of every month at 1 p.m. at the New Lebanon Town Hall. Annual fee is $10, free to those over 80. Activities include trips, holiday lunches at local restaurants, a barbecue and covered dish events, bingo, and more. Everyone over 55 is welcome.

READSBORO, VT.
