Sheffield: Feast celebrates permanent exhibit

The Sheffield Historical Society will hold a feast from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, to celebrate the opening of the permanent Milt Barnum Tool Exhibit in the Historical Society's barn.

The feast will be held on the SHS's grounds, 159 Main St.; park in the Town Hall parking lot.

The menu includes smoked ham, ribs, chicken, beef, bacon, porkstrami, and a variety of side dishes.

Tickets can be purchased the day of the event by cash or check. Cost is $25 for the general public, $20 for society members, $15 youth ages 7-18, and free for kids under 6.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the preservation of items in the Society's collection.
