Spencertown Academy Arts Center is hosting a fun new program for kids ages 6 to 12 and their families. The Family Arts Kaleidoscope virtual events series kicks off with "Jason Talks About Dinosaurs," on Zoom at 10 a.m. Saturday. Learn about the origins of dinosaurs and how they evolved over time, and the beginnings of flight and feathers in the ancestors of modern day birds. Students will learn how birds and dinosaurs are closely related, and be able to apply the fun things they'll learn into designing their own dinosaurs. Participants should come to the meeting with paper for drawing and favorite tools for color: paint, pencils or crayons. This event is free. Register at
