Susan B. Anthony Museum finalist for state nonprofit award
ADAMS >> The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum has been selected as a finalist in the board of governance category for the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network's 2015 Nonprofit Excellence Awards.
The finalists will be recognized on Nonprofit Awareness Day on Monday, June 8.
Nonprofit Excellence Award finalists are nominated by dedicated individuals and organizations funded by a passion to broaden their impact and strengthen communities across the Commonwealth. Almost 200 nominations were received this year.
The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum is dedicated to preserving the birthplace and raising public awareness of the 19th century pioneering feminist and suffragist Susan B. Anthony.
Nonprofits across the state will also be engaging in a social media campaign on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram leading up to June 8 using the hashtag #nonprofitsmakesense. Details are available at www.massnonprofitnet.org/npad2015.
