The Eagle Santa Fund donations

The Eagle Santa Fund is underway and its goal is to raise $45,000 to make the holiday season brighter for local children. The Santa Fund has raised $4,875 to date this season.

Now in its 88th year, this non-profit corporation distributes holiday gift certificates redeemable at Walmart, allowing families to choose age appropriate gifts for their children ages 3-11. Children 2 years of age or younger receive a specially chosen gift from the Santa Fund.

Donations can be mailed to The Eagle Santa Fund, 75 South Church St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 or dropped off at The Berkshire Eagle office.

Contributions can be listed in the donor's name, in memory of loved ones or anonymously. Donations are tax deductible.

Donors and their contributions will be listed in The Berkshire Eagle unless otherwise noted. Donations must be received by Dec. 18 to ensure they are listed in the newspaper before Christmas Day.
