STOCKBRIDGE — The Trustees of Reservations celebrated the gardens, history and splendor of Naumkeag with its annual Garden Party on Saturday, July 28.
The party, which featured cocktails and hors d'oeuvres alongside sweeping views is a fundraiser Gilded Age summer cottage of the Choate family.
Funds raised by the garden party goes toward ongoing engagement and stewardship work at Naumkeag.
The party featured the dedication of a peach tree in honor of the late Robert G. Wilmers, a philanthropist and member of the group that owns The Berkshire Eagle. Wilmers died last December at age 83.
