Three 3-ingredient appetizers to make Thanksgiving easy
Save your pantry ingredients and your cooking energy this Thanksgiving with one of these three easy, yet delicious, appetizers that only require three ingredients.
GARLICKY SPINACH DIP
All you need: Frozen chopped spinach, garlic and Greek yogurt
How you make it: Thaw and squeeze dry a package of frozen chopped spinach, then mix with thick Greek yogurt and a chopped clove of garlic. Chill before serving to let the flavors meld.
All you need: 1 package (24 oz) cocktail peanuts, 2 tablespoons butter and 1 package chili seasoning mix
How you make it: Place the nuts in a slow cooker. Drizzle the butter over, then sprinkle on the dry chili mix. Toss well to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2-1/2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so. Turn to high. Remove the cover and cook for 10 or 15 minutes more. Serve warm or cool.
All you need: Pre-made breadsticks, slices of bacon and honey
How you make it: Take breadsticks (the kind you buy in the store) wrap the top half in bacon, brush the bacon with honey. Leave the bottom of the breadstick clean so you can pick it up without being sticky or greasy. Bake in a 375-degree oven on a sheet pan until the bacon is cooked.
