Toole honored by state insurance association
The award is presented annually to the MAIA member, who through their personal and professional life, sets an example to be followed by their fellow independent agents across the state. Toole was nominated by the MAIA's chairman, and vetted by the executive committee. He received the award at the organization's annual Convention and Trade Show. The Pacesetter Award is named after former MAIA President and staff member Henry F. Barry Jr.
Toole holds several professional designation demonstrating his commitment to professional development. He served for many years on the MAIA Board of Directors, including a year as chairman in 2011. While serving on the board, Toole was instrumental in reactivating the Young Agents Committee.
Established in 1939, the L.V. Toole Agency is one of the oldest family-owned insurance agencies in Western Massachusetts, and has been a five-star agency since 2002. MAIA is the leading trade association for more than 1,200 Massachusetts independent insurance agencies and their more than 9,000 employees.
