Tripp-Cleveland elected to state broadcasters' board

PITTSFIELD — Cheryl Tripp-Cleveland, the general manager of Pittsfield radio station WBRK, has been elected to the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association Board of Directors.

Founded in 1954, the MBA is a trade association for radio and television broadcast stations in the state of Massachusetts. The association's chief responsibility is the protection and promotion of the state's over-the-air television and radio stations. The association does this through advocacy, seminars and webinars, legal hotlines, broadcasting scholarships, and various other programs. It holds an annual convention and recognizes stations and individuals with annual award.

A long-time resident of the Berkshires, Tripp-Cleveland has served on several boards and with many local non-profits, including Kiwanis Club of Pittsfield where she served as the district's lieutenant governor.
