BOSTON — Robin Wadsworth, who grew up in Pittsfield, has been appointed president of Thought Industries, the world's leading business-to-business training customer training platform. She will be based in the company's Boston office and report to CEO Barry Kelly.

A highly successful executive, Wadsworth has more than 25 years of experience focused specifically on high growth technology companies. She previously served as senior vice president of business-to-business sales at PROS, where she led the go-to-market team, resulting in 48 percent subscription revenue growth and year-over-year revenue growth from $197 million to $250 million.

Wadsworth also spent over four years at BlackLine Inc., a cloud-based finance and accounting automation company, as senior vice president of sales, where she was a member of the leadership team. During her tenure, the team delivered revenue growth from $40 million to more than $225 million and achieved a successful IPO. She has also held leadership positions at Infor, FICO, IBM (Sterling Commerce) and Computer Associates.

Last month, Thought Industries was named the number one business-to-business customer training platform for 2020 by The Craig Weiss Group LLC, a leading analyst, advisory and consulting service to buyers and vendors in the e-learning industry. The company was included on Forbes' list of America's Best Startup Employers for 2020.
