Watch again! Eagle livestream on Pittsfield school funding, fall classes

The superintendent of Pittsfield Public Schools and the president of the United Educators of Pittsfield will discuss school funding and the return of classes this fall Friday afternoon during a live broadcast on The Berkshire Eagle's website.

The Eagle's executive editor, Kevin Moran, will host the livestream with guests Superintendent Jason "Jake" McCandless and teachers union president and Herberg Middle School teacher Melissa Campbell at 3 p.m. on berkshireeagle.com. The discussion can also be viewed on The Eagle's Facebook page, facebook.com/berkshire.eagle. At both locations online, the broadcast will be available for later viewing.

The discussion will cover the city schools' budget and the various scenarios under consideration for resuming classes.
