Pittsfield Prospers is hosting a Boomer and Beyond Meetup, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Greylock Community Empowerment Center, to discuss the future of Pittsfield.
Breakfast with your representative
Join state Rep. Tricia Farley-Bouvier for breakfast and conversation from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Panera, 635 Merrill Road, Pittsfield. Everyone is invited to stop by if they have an idea, question or comment about state government they wish to share or if they require assistance from Farley-Bouvier and her staff regarding constituent services.
Opportunities for job-seekers
The MassHire Berkshire Career Center's annual Job Fair will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at Berkshire Hills Country Club, 500 Benedict Road, Pittsfield. Job-seekers will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with local businesses with employment opportunities. The first 30 minutes are open exclusively to veterans. Information for volunteers
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is looking for volunteers to grow tax services in Berkshire County. Prospective volunteers can learn more, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mary Spitzer Senior Center in North Adams; or from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lee Council on Aging.
