LENOX — Wheatleigh, a luxury lodging establishment in Lenox, has received a four diamond hotel rating for 2019 from the American Automobile Association. It is one of just 55 state properties to earn either four or five diamond ratings from AAA this year, and the only one located in either Berkshire County or Western Massachusetts. Only 6.3 percent of the 27,000 hotels across North America that AAA's inspectors visit annually receive a four diamond rating. Wheatleigh first received a four diamond rating from AAA in 2003.The recipients will be honored by AAA this spring at luncheons in Boston and in the Berkshires. Recipients of five and four diamond awards for restaurants will be announced in mid-February.
