Williamstown: Women's historian to address SWCA

Barbara Winslow, professor emerita of Women's and Gender Studies at Brooklyn College and the founder and director emerita of the Shirley Chisholm Project of Brooklyn Women's activism, will speak at South Williamstown Community Association's annual meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Sweetwood, 1611 Cold Spring Road.

Winslow will present background on the struggle for voting rights for women and outline some other programs planned by Northern Berkshire Suffrage Centennial Coalition.

The meeting will include the election of officers and a review of the past year's activities and future projects. Refreshments will be served.
