WINDSOR — A one-vehicle crash on Route 9 on Monday night resulted in the driver's third arrest for drunken driving.

Massachusetts State Police responded to a call at 6:10 p.m. for a pickup truck off the road on Route 9, according to David Procopio, a state police spokesman.

Upon arrival, troopers and Windsor Police, firefighters and EMS responders found a 2005 Ford F250 had lost control and rolled over. With the official report not yet complete, state police could not provide specifics on circumstances of the crash.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, William J. Dunsmore, had been trapped and was removed from the truck by firefighters. Dunsmore, 33, was transported to Berkshire Medical Center for evaluation. At about 9 p.m., hospital staff discharged Dunsmore, and he was taken by waiting troopers to the state police barracks in Cheshire.

There, Dunsmore was booked and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, third offense; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; speeding; and marked lanes violation. His bail was set at $7,540.
