With no contests on Sandisfield ballot, voters set to elect new faces to boards

SANDISFIELD — There are no contested races in this year's town election, but two new faces are poised to take seats on town and school boards.

John Field is a write-in candidate for the open two-year seat on the Planning Board, while Jennifer Hibbins is on the ballot for the three-year seat on the Farmington River Regional School Committee.

Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Old Town Hall on 3 Silverbrook Road.

Candidates for other uncontested seats include: moderator (one year), Simon Winchester; Select Board (three years), George Riley; Board of Assessors (three years), Bethany Perry; Board of Health (three years), Kim Spring; Planning Board (five years), Paul Gaudette; and library trustee (five years), Clare English.
