Don't be. We've got all the information you need in order to park in downtown Pittsfield so you can get to one of the many events happening over the 10 days.

Metered on-street parking

(8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

North, South, School, Federal Fenn and Wahconah streets and Park Square.

Metered off-street parking

(7 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Depot Street lot (next to the McKay parking garage) and First Street parking lot (across from the First Street Common)


First 30 minutes — free (metered on- and off-street parking)

On-street parking — $1 per hour

Off-street parking — 50 cents per hour

After 5 p.m. and weekends — free

Free parking lots

(with time limits, free parking after 5 p.m. and weekends)

Showplace lot, 436 North St., Melville Street (across from the Boys and Girls Club), Gateway lot (South Street next to The Colonial Theatre. The McKay parking garage is by permit only 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; but is free after 5 p.m. and weekends.

Free on-street parking

Pomeroy, Bartlett, Wendell, Madison and Kent avenues; Church, West, Eagle, Depot, Summer, Melville, Union, Bradford, and Linden streets.

To use parking meter kiosk:

- Enter license plate number

- Follow prompts for the expected time of stay and form of payment

- Pay with cash, credit card or smart phone application

- Take receipt at end of transaction; no need to display receipt in car
